They big girls have started rolling around for dust baths, and are definitely clucking! Ragnar is starting to jump around a lot more. I can't wait for that little guy to start crowing. Yes I say that now but when it wakes me up at 4 am, maybe not. He certainly isn't very pretty right now.
Oh dear, I think one of the Rhode Island reds has wry neck. I'll be picking some supplements. Poor girl just looks sad. She isn't all twisted but her head is down. She looks sad. She is eating and drinking. I hope she gets better quickly! There isn't a lot of pictures this week, I've been trying to get a picture of Droopy.
We've had some chicken fights recently. Cuckoo Channel and one of the RIR girls (not droopy) have been getting a bit pushy with each other. The RIR had one of cuckoos feathers in her mouth saying "what?! You want some more?!"
Our Buff Orpingtons continue to jump out of their box. They hope onto the edges and then don't know what to do.
Broken record time. I hope they'll be in their coop by this time next week. Scribs is working really hard and doing a great job. I can't wait to share! In the mean time get caught up with the chicks whole lives with weeks 1 2 3 4 5 6 & 7. No Cuckoo Chanel this week, she's hiding.
