Currently coveting: Cuckoo clock

I have no idea why, but for about a year I have REALLY wanted a cuckoo clock. It's part whimsy and part function that really makes me happy. Here's a few that I'd love to get my hands on. And of course I have somewhere special picked out for each one.

Currently Coveting

We have one big tree in our yard, just one. That's really the only tree. I don't count the wind-break cedars because I don't like them. So for now we have one lonely tree. I'm dreaming of a yard (and field) filled with 60 foot tall climbing trees that turn every shade of autumn. I'm specifically looking for trees that will change the brightest and boldest hues and are BIG!

Of course I only picked trees that would grow in my zone but there are so many more that I would love to have. 

There will be no tree planting this year, but a girl can be hopefull for the future. This old house has a great list of fall foliage trees!

This ain't your grandma's macramé! My wonderful friend Janelle and her business partner Tarryn just launched their beautiful website Tied and Timber. They make really cool fiber art in Nashville, and even use natural dyes upon request! What could be better than a small business selling awesome decor that's made in America, and run by women! Bonus!

I've been drooling over their beautiful creations ever since I saw their first one! Here is the Tied and Timber Etsy shop. I would absolutely put one in every room! I'd love one for each of the kid's rooms once I get around to decorating.

Counter top lemon trees currently coveting

I am very into these dwarf lemon trees. Don't they make these kitchens looks so bright and cheery? I'm in full-on garden purchasing mode, every impulse buy is being curbed right now. Perhaps in the fall, until them I'm going to sigh longingly at these mini-trees and pretend I can smell the lemons.

Do you have plants in your house? Any recommendations?
